The Other Options

What about building it yourself, or a proper website, or booking software?

Fair questions. Here is the honest answer to each.

Wix and Squarespace are cheap. Your Sunday nights are not.

The subscription is twenty dollars a month. The real cost is the ten or twelve hours you do not have, spread across six weeks, working out what goes where.

Most owners we speak to have a half-finished Squarespace draft sitting in a browser tab. That is the normal outcome, not the exception.

There is also the blank page problem. A template gives you a shape and no answer to what a holiday home page should actually say. We already know, because we have built it before and we will build another one next week.

Then there is what happens after. Plugins go stale, certificates lapse, nobody checks it still loads. Ours is looked after in the background and you never think about it again.

You do not need a website. You need a page.

A web agency will quote five to fifteen thousand dollars, because they are pricing a project. A project means discovery calls, revision rounds and three months of your attention.

One property does not need eight pages, a blog and a content plan. It needs one page that looks good and sends people to the right place.

We price it as a product instead. Fixed cost, fixed timeline, one form at the start.

Booking software is a change to how you run the place. This is not.

Platforms like Lodgify and Boostly are not really a page. They are an operating change. Calendar sync, rate management, payments, cancellation terms, guest messaging. All of it becomes yours to run, from day one, at a hundred and forty to four hundred dollars a month.

If you run six properties and want to move away from the platforms, that is a fair trade. If you own one or two and have a day job, it is a second job you did not ask for.

A Stay Page does not ask you to leave anything or run anything. Your listings stay where they are. You just have somewhere professional to send people, and the guest who wants to come back next January has a direct way to reach you.

We manage the registration inside our account so you never have to think about renewals, and if you ever decide to leave we transfer the domain and the files across to you. No lock-in and no long contract.

If you want to take bookings and payments directly right now, we are not there yet. That is Stay Page Pro and it is still in development. Let us know and we will tell you when it is ready.

If you enjoy building things yourself and want to change your own copy every fortnight, Squarespace will suit you better than we will.

And if you get all the bookings you need from one platform and you are happy with that, you may not need this at all.

We would rather say that now than after you have paid us.

A few things people usually ask.

Do I need to leave Airbnb or Stayz?

Not at all. Your Stay Page works alongside your existing listings. We’ll add buttons that link directly to wherever you take bookings today. Think of it as adding something you own, not replacing something that’s already working.

What if I don't have great photos?

If you’re already listed on Airbnb or Stayz, we can pull your existing photos from there to get started — as long as you own them or have the right to use them. If you’d like professional photography, we can help coordinate that as an add-on.

Do I need to write the content myself?

No. We’ll work from your existing listing copy and tidy it up as part of the build. If you want a proper copywriting service from scratch, that’s available as an add-on starting from $450 + GST.

How long does it take to go live?

Stay Page is typically live within 5 business days of receiving your content. Stay Page Plus takes 7–10 business days. Stay Page Pro is 10–15 business days. Timing starts once we have everything we need from you.

What's included in the monthly fee?

The monthly fee covers hosting, SSL certificate, daily backups, security monitoring and basic support. It keeps your page fast, safe and running — without you having to think about it. Higher-tier packages also include monthly maintenance and care.

Can I upgrade my package later?

Yes. You can start with Stay Page and upgrade to Plus or Pro at any time. We’ll quote the difference in setup cost and move you across — you won’t lose anything you’ve already built.

I have two or three properties. Can you help?

Absolutely. Additional property pages start from $750 + GST each. If you have multiple properties and want to talk through options, just get in touch and we’ll put together a custom quote.

How does payment work?

The setup fee is invoiced upfront and the build starts once it clears. Fixed price, fixed inclusions, so there is nothing to true up at the end.

Your monthly care plan starts the day your page goes live, not before.
